Rose Tree Media EA member Anthony Grisillo named Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year

PSEA congratulates Anthony Grisillo, a gifted support instructor and science coordinator at Glenwood Elementary School in the Rose Tree Media School District, on being honored as Pennsylvania's 2014 Teacher of the Year. Grisillo received the honor at a December 9 awards ceremony in Hershey, PA.

A teacher with more than 15 years in the classroom, Grisillo has spent his entire career in the Rose Tree Media School District. Since 2000, he has served as the elementary science coordinator for curriculum and development. 

Grisillo received his bachelor's degree from West Chester University and his master's degree in science and technology from Widener University. He completed post-graduate work at the University of Alabama and the University of La Verne. 

Grisillo is a member of the Rose Tree Education Association, the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association, and the National Science Teachers Association.
