School Nurses

Certified School Nurses (CSNs) possess the professional education and skills necessary to care for Pennsylvania’s school children. School nurses are on the front line with students every day. They are sometimes the only healthcare professionals that children see in non-emergency situations. School nurses assist children and their families in obtaining needed medical and social services. Often they are the first to notice signs of trouble in individual students.
