ACE: Advocates for Children & Education

ACE New Logo

PSEA's Advocates for Children & Education is a grassroots advocacy program based on relationships and member engagement. An ACE is a PSEA member who is committed to working with his or her elected officials to advance public education in Pennsylvania and to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves - our students.

ACEs educate, advocate and communicate regularly with legislators. ACEs are passionate about their profession and their students' success, and will make sure public officials understand the needs of teachers, students, and classrooms in their communities and across the Commonwealth.

PSEA members who participate in the ACE program receive training in advocacy, lobbying and policy as they being work in their communities. Training to become an ACE occurs year-round.

Become an ACE
In the ACE program, members work in teams to promote the rights of students, teachers, retirees, and education support professionals on issues ranging from health care to working conditions and from school funding to job security. By participating in the ACE program, you can join the growing number of members who are educating legislators on issues that affect public education, students, and their professions.

The ACE program is a grassroots effort designed to empower members to become advocates for their profession and for students in our public schools.

If you would like to become an ACE, or would like more information, please contact Jennifer Statler - or 1-800-944-7732.
